| First off let me say that my husband and I were excited about camping for the 1st time with our son and purposely picked a location close to water so we could picnic near the lake and maybe even swim. Bailey cove is a little misleading as the cove has not had water for quite a few years and there is not any easy access to the lake unless you have a boat. Also, the campground itself sits right off the highway so you hear the traffic all night long. Bees and wasps are also an issue if you ever plan on eating while you are camping, be aware and pack lots of spray. the campsites do have picnic tables, a fire pit, tent pad and very nice bathrooms, it is a small campsite which is also nice but do not be misled by the name or descriptions you might read. |
