Open from May to October, the Bowden Heritage Rest Area is conveniently located just off Highway 2 on the south service road adjacent to the Rest Stop and the popular 9-hole Bowden Golf Course. This is a basic campsite of 24 sites (some serviced), often used during the day or for family picnics. There are horseshoe pits and playgrounds for the kids. Washrooms with showers, tap water, public phone, sewer dump, with monthly rates available. No reservations required. |
