Well I don't know what this person was talking about! Eagle Canyon Hideaway is awesome and the staff is wonderful. We go there 4 to 5 times in the summer. There is so much to do there, the sites are spacious and there are shade trees!

If you don't mind staying in a glorified parking lot, with very little shade...then this is the place! We were shocked when we drove in and saw how close the RVs were parked together and absolutely no shade anywhere was to be found. We don't have AC in our trailer. Maybe in about 10 years the trees will be big enough, but being crammed in like sardines is not my idea of camping. The state parks are MUCH nicer!!!
