Came up to Frankenmuth for their Oktoberfest. The campground is located very close to downtown Frankenmuth which was nice. The building's seemed fairly well maintained and clean. What I thought was disappointing was that the campsites are extremely close unless you get a corner deluxe site with full hookups which was the most expensive site I have ever seen. In addition I was surprised to notice that they have no firepits at all. I had to go to the office and buy one of their portable fire pits to have a fire since they don't advertise that they do not have firepits on site. The staff was courteous and it seemed like a good family friendly campground. Unfortunately due to the very limited space and way overpriced sites I will not be camping there again.

We stayed at your park on Oct 9, 2009. It was the worst experience of camping we have ever had. We were supposed to have site 124, when we got there a big motorhome was parked in that site so they gave us 142. It was too long for our camper to have full hook up and the site was almost totally under water. We had to wade water over our shoe tops to get out of our truck and it was like that all the way to our door. Plus at 10:30 at night a large fifth wheel pulled in right next to us and made a tremdous amount of noise 'til about midnight. For the amount of money that you charge the sites should all be black topped without pot holes and smaller campers should have sites with shorter hook-ups. We will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone else. Sincerely, Kathy Cross
