This was the most family friendly part - the camp hosts were wonderful. The playgrounds and the trails were very well taken care of - as well as the bathrooms. This campground is very well patrolled and do not tolerate smoking on the playgrounds and prefers no smoking in the entire park - It was a wonderful experience and we will definately be back. Lots of family fun to do!

My family and many of our friends camp at Lake Iowa many times throughout the camping season every year. It is a very well kept and quiet place with excellent fishing. I will definately continue to camp there!

This is the fourth time we have camped here; we LOVE it! It is generally quiet and there is lots of shade plus the very clean and modern shower house is what keeps us coming back. Love listening to the water at night.

Very nice park however I see no need for 2 camp hosts. The hosts at the entrance to the park seem to have poor attitudes and during a weeks stay. Not once did we see them doing anything, I had to get a 30lb bottle of propane and was made to feel like I was intruding when I went to their door and stood there as she attempted to scream across the park at her husband. Their 3 or 4 dogs when left outside bark, they have 3 vehicles squeezed into their site in violation of park rules. Whereas the other site host seemed to be out improving the areas with decorations and watering the flowers etc and seemed very friendly. Very nice park. I would ditch the unfriendly host who obviuosly are not earning the $23/night their site would bring in to other campers.

Very nice. Everything was mowed and there weren't any bugs. The shelter house was clean and up to date. Well kept park. It would be a great place to camp.
