James Creek Campgrounds & RV Park Directory
Total of 2 Campgrounds / RV Parks
Trough Creek State Park Rt 26 to Rt 994 at Entriken 6 miles on Rt 994 to intersection of RT 994 and Rt 3031 Turn left 1.5 miles to park office
Hemlock Hideaway Campground From Lancaster and points east: Take PA Turnpike until the Ft. Littleton exit 180. Turn left onto Rt. 522 south. Go a few miles to intersection of Rt. 475 which veers off to the right at the top of the hill. Take Rt. 475 for about four miles to Hustontown. In this town, Rt. 475 becomes Rt. 655 without you making any turns. Stay on Rt. 655 north until you come to a fork in the road (bank in center). Turn left at this stop sign onto Rt. 913. Rate Rt. 913 for about six miles to Robertsdale (you will climb a large mountain). At the foot of the mountain, turn right and follow for a few miles. Look for a small highway sign marked "Cooks 2 miles" and turn right here (there will be a large church on your left when you turn right). You'll follow the ridge downhill until you come to a small gas station on your left. At the crossroads turn left onto Rt. 994 W. We are about eight miles from this point. You will pass two smaller campgrounds on your left. After you pass Newburn Campground, we are the next campground on the left - we are about two miles outside of the town of Newburg. We will be on the left-hand side of the road. From the Turnpike exit, it takes about 45 minutes to get to Hemlock.
