| Just got back from a tour of the western national parks. I usually stay at really nice places, but wanted to go a bit rustic to go with the theme. Having never camped before, I found some things charming (not that I was camping, but there were some people camping). There was a lawn area, kind of cute that pure weeds constitute a lawn. There were bat droppings all over the place. I kind of liked the natural feel to the place. The hot tub was a great party place. The people seemed very accepting of alternate lifestyles. I felt welcome. I was a bit apprehensive before I checked in, but next time I think I might even wear my pink cowboy hat. |
