Excellent campground, clean and friendly. Definitely a family campground and even our dogs were welcomed with open arms. We've been traveling to this park annually for about 10 years now and have NEVER had a bad experience.

We go to Bluff Valley every year with a large group of us. There is a lot of activities for everyone, bingo, a dance, pretzel making, crafts, volleyball, tubing, a driving range, arcade, etc. The only thing we don't like is that there should be like a 3 day rate for tubing so you don't feel you have to keep on tubing everyday to get your moneys worth. The staff is great, activities every night, large campsites and you don't get into trouble if you set up a tent next to your camper for the kids. Bathrooms are not so great, but can't have everything. We love it there and go back every year!

Nice campground however the sites are very small. They placed a very large motor home next to our 5th wheel and we could touch one of the slide outs on the motor home while sitting by our campfire. Owners could work on customer service skills a bit better as well. I had called ahead of time to check on something and was told they would not be able to answer that as it was supper time and the office was closed...then why did you answer the phone???? They told us only 1 vehicle per site which is fine, however we needed to get stuff unloaded prior to moving the vehicle. While we were doing that one of the owners was at our campsite telling us that it would be OK to just leave it at the campsite since we would be leaving in that vehicle shortly. Before we finished the other owner came over and told us to move it. When we explained that we were just told we could leave it there and that her husband was the one who told us we could she got very angry and said that now we would have to move it NOW. Made us scared of them for the rest of our stay!

Beautiful campground!! Staff absolutely terrible!! Don't bother having a fire after dark. Staff sit by in a cart and monitor your "sound level". Without music, not loud, just sitting talking with my family, we were told twice to be quiet. Could not hear the guests next to us at all, who were also harassed by the staff multiple times. When asked if anyone was complaining, we were told he was. Our campsite was actually across the road from where we sat next to the fire. When I went to bed, I couldn't hear anyone from the two sites at all. Gorgeous campground with lots of amenities. Terrible service unfortunately, day and night. Will not go back again.

Previous reviewers were right on target as to attractive and clean campground with unbelievably rude hosts. We also were harassed constantly; owner even kept hiding behind a tree to watch us! Told we were too loud, but campers nearby said they never heard us. Have never had an experience like that before or since. Other campgrounds are so relaxing in comparison; would never recommend to anyone.

This was a very hostile campground. Owners were rude and indignant. We were scolded for coming in at "supper time". We were berated for pulling into our site instead of backing in. Customer Service skills leave alot to be desired. I do not recommend this campground.

The rates charged are misrepresented. They charge $25 per night for 2 adults per camper. They charge $5 more per night for additional adults, which would be fine except they consider children 13 and over as adults. The woman who manages the office was rude to me at check-in, she was rude to my daughter a day later, and she was rude to our friend who came to visit us. Three times the charm, we left a day early! What a way to ruin what should be a relaxing family vacation! We won't return there again!
