Our FMCA Chapter has just completed a Rally here at Coachlight RV Park. Without a doubt they were one of the best park we have ever visited. The staff is outstanding, always making sure we were finding what we needed. The clubroom is fully stocked for preparing meals and is pleasant for gathering. The recommendations for dinner out was great. We certainly will return here.

We arrived September 4, 2009 and left October 26, 2009. We stayed in lots 1 and 34.

We have a 40 ft 5th wheel tri axle using 50 amp service with full hookups.

Lot 1 was cement and very level. We agreed to change lots when another camper came in that was staying for 4 years and for whom this lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.

Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.

The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.

It is very dog friendly which is important to us.

The wi-fi works well and has an excellent signal.

The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were there, so I didn't use the pool.

We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities while there, though they do have them.

We would definitely stay there again and in fact do plan to stay there when going through the area in April, 2010.

My husband and I stayed at the Pony Express on our way cross-country. It is a little off the highway, but well worth the drive. The place is clean and well-kept. The hosts don't just give lip service to hospitality: they practice it. We camped in a large diesel pusher with a tow vehicle, and we had no trouble getting into our site. The other campers we ran into were very neighborly. It was a truly enjoyable place. We wish we could have stayed longer.
