Pioneer Village Family Campground  From Winston-Salem, traveling US 52 North, take the Pinnacle exit (#129), and go west on Perch Road. Follow 1 & 1/2 miles to Stoney Ridge Road, then turn left on Shoals Road. Continue to Ellis Hardy Road and turn left at John Scott Road. The park is 1/10 miles.
Serenity Stables and Campground  From Winston Salem, North Carolina to Serenity Stables: 52 North to Pinnacle Exit #129; Turn back to left, go approximately 1 ½ miles to Stoney Ridge Rd (2nd hard-top road on right). Travel 1 ½ miles to stop sign @ Shoals Rd. Turn left onto Shoals Rd and travel approximately 4 miles. Road turns to gravel and Serenity is approximately 200 yards on right.

Quiet, clean, level sites. Many permanent campers and nor frills, but for the price you can't beat it. We wanted a place to stay the night to attend "Hot Nights Hot Cars" car show in Pilot Mountain, NC. We stayed an extra night because we liked it so much.
