| Amazing service! Wonderful out-of-the-way little family-run campground. Small, but a total treat. The kids (7&10), adored the pool, which is small enough they feel safe, but allowed them to have water toys. The schoolhouse/rec area is amazing - toys, books, games and wi-fi! Sites can be very private or fairly open, depending on your needs. No fee to pitch a tent for the kids. All in all, this is probably our favourite campground in a month of travels. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Just GREAT! |

| This is a very lovely place to stay. Great staff, very friendly. It is kept very neat and clean. Only draw back for us was the short piece of gravel road you have to travel on. We will definately stay again. |

| We really like our perminate site, we really think they should get busy & get more sites in,they knew the waiting list even after the new ones were leased in 2008, WHAT are they waiting for??? also they need to get more boat spots for people to lease, there is soo much potential @ that Park but not much for getting things done in a big way. Get some government help, money up front etc, We know 10 families that are wanting a site to lease, they see what we have & how much we enjoy it out there. It is really too bad Mainprize isn't growing faster as it has ALOT of potential. Lets get this beautiful Saskatchewan park known in Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Agreed. With little ones, walking from the campground to the pool/beach area is very difficult, and very far. The pool hours are limited, and the beach most definitely has a leech problem. Staff described the beach as really great, and when were questioned afterwards said, "well, the leeches are little". To many little kids, leeches are scary and upsetting, and the label "little" is quite irrelevant.
It's a REALLY pretty place, but if you have kids and want good access to the pool/beach/activities, this is probably not the place for you! |

| I suspect this might be a lovely campground for older people or anyone who brings a trailer and a car, but unfortunately we had a 7 and 10 year old with us in an RV. We had hoped to park and stay two nights, letting the kids swim and bike and play as much as possible. However, the campgrounds are a LONG uphill walk/bike ride from the pool/store/rec hall, which was too far for the kids to walk more than once a day, and they had to have an adult with them. The pool closes at 7pm (early!) We were relieved when staff directed us to the 'nice beach' until we realized they have a big leech problem. The kids each had 2-3 on them just from swimming for about 15 minutes, and our dinghy had about 4-6 on the bottom. Not fun with little kids who were scared and upset. Also, it would have been nice to have park staff warn us that there could be cougars around (after hearing it from two different long-term camping groups, we checked at the office and learned that indeed some cougars had been spotted.) Overall I'd say this isn't a good park to stay at if you have kids. It's really pretty and I expect it would have been great had we been without small ones. |

| Nice park occupied by locals.
No information for visitors.
Sites not level
Dog poo and food scraps dumped on site (site not cleaned)
Dump station full, could not dump.
Poor management, poorly trained staff (lacked basic information about Estevan such as a map of the city, location of shopping etc.)
Poor maintenance.
Do not intend to stay here again |

| it sucked. nothing for my 11 yr old daughter kally to do. Sorry but it was unpleasant. Add a pool with a waterslide, better golf course and an ice cream extravaganza - then we'll come back. |
