50 amp service
There are a lot of campgrounds that offer 30 amp servce but not 50 amp. Usually this means that you’ll need a 50amp to 30amp adapter and you may not be able to run two air conditioning units (as most motorhomes have) at the same time. Forget about running the microwave or other high amperage appliances while the a/c is running.
This image is typical of any campground : 30amp service (round plug) and 15amp service (regular receptical). These are two separate curcuits that total 45amps together. You just need the 50 amp adaptor so you can plug into the 30amp outlet and the 15 amp outlet.
